Path Keepers Warrior Arts
Warrior-Priest Training for Mind, Body, & Spirit
You already know about calling the quarters. This class teaches you to move through them with your whole body.
Ninety minutes of martial arts training for magickal practitioners, taught as devotional practice in motion. No experience needed. Most of the folks here started right where you are.
Stance, breath, and the first ten movements
We build skills from the ground up. It all starts with how you stand, how you breathe while you stand, and the ten foundational movements that everything else is made from. If you were here September 6, we'll go deeper into the 10/8 drills, letting that repetition build your muscle memory.
What we do in 90 minutes
We start standing still with stance and breath, which is most of the work. Then footwork, moving and stepping. Then strikes, blocks, and simple combinations, built bottom-up from the foundations. Underneath the footwork, you're learning to take force that comes at you and pass it along instead of absorbing it.
Every class stands on its own as well as building on prior experience. We train twice a month in-person as a group, and you can come to this one, skip the next three, and pick back up whenever. Nobody gets left behind; everybody moves at their own pace.
Your brain and body are welcome here
Martial arts classes give you the same task, repeatedly, with immediate feedback and a manageable amount of pressure. Recent research on ADHD and autism (Costanza et al., 2025; Phung & Goldberg, 2019) suggests that kind of training structure may support executive functioning skills, including attention, working memory, impulse control, emotional regulation, and the ability to shift gears when the situation calls for it. Nobody here is trying to fix you. This type of training gives your brain a demanding place to practice focus and adaptation with a coach, again and again. It complements therapy, medication, accommodations, and medical care rather than replacing any of them.
The room is small. Partner drills are opt-in and coached for control. Stance work can be done seated, and drills scale. If you have an injury, a chronic condition, or a body that behaves unpredictably, bring your body however it is that day. If you'd rather sort out accommodations before you walk in, leave a note when you register.
The path behind the class
Path Keepers Warrior Arts is a warrior-priest tradition that recognizes three complementary paths: the Warrior, who develops capability; the Priest, who develops understanding; and the Path Keeper, who develops leadership. Alfred trains all three, and the standard he holds is strength without aggression and service that doesn't cost you yourself.
Come take a Sunday afternoon class, no strings. If you like what you experience, there's more.
Taught by Alfred Silverstar, 2nd Degree High Priest in the WISE-ATC tradition of Wicca under Lord Solinox Silverstar, Summoner of Weavers of the Web, ATC. Alfred has decades of experience training in and teaching a wide variety of ancient martial arts. He's put together his physical experience there with his magickal training to bring you a unique opportunity to train mind, body, and soul together as one.
