Tiger's Eye & Black Tourmaline Stretch Bracelet — One of a Kind
Black tourmaline covers most of this strand, in larger rounds and small spacers that set up a rhythm you can feel through your fingers. Set into it are tiger's eye beads in gold, deep red-brown and dark blue, each one throwing its own band of moving light against all that flat black. One oversized tourmaline bead breaks the pattern near the bottom. Soul Seed Creations hand-strung this.

One stretch bracelet on elastic cord, no clasp, slips over the wrist. Black tourmaline rounds in two sizes, larger beads at approximately 8mm with smaller spacers between, plus tiger's eye beads in gold, red-brown and dark blue-black. Handmade in Michigan. Arrives ready to wear.
About the stones
Black tourmaline, properly called schorl, is a boron silicate that grows in long striated prisms. Those lengthwise grooves are its signature, and on polished beads you can usually still catch them as fine parallel lines running across the surface under raking light. Schorl is also pyroelectric and piezoelectric, meaning it develops an electrical charge under heat or pressure.
Tiger's eye is a pseudomorph: quartz replaced crocidolite fiber by fiber and inherited the fiber alignment, so light reflects back as one rolling band rather than scattering. The material occurs naturally in red, brown, gold, cream, black and blue.

Black tourmaline — sacral chakra, and it activates grounding between the root and the center of the earth. Capricorn. Vibrates to 3 and 4. Also known as schorl and aphrizite.
