Ocean Jasper & Aquamarine Stretch Bracelet — One of a Kind
Every bead on this strand came out of water. Ocean jasper is quarried at the tideline, aquamarine has been the sailor's stone since Rome, and Soul Seed Creations strung the two together into a bracelet in rust, moss, mauve, cream and pale sea blue.

About the stones
Ocean jasper is a trade name with a story. The material is an orbicular chalcedony pulled from a coastal deposit in Madagascar, on a stretch of shore reachable only by boat at low tide. The little floating circles in the stone are spherulites, radial crystal growths that formed around scattered nucleation points while the silica was setting, so each orb is a tiny frozen starburst. The original deposit was worked out roughly two decades ago and later material comes from neighboring pockets, which is why older ocean jasper and newer ocean jasper look related but never identical.
Aquamarine is beryl, the same mineral family as emerald, colored by trace iron. Nearly all pale blue aquamarine on the market is heat-treated to lift out greenish tones. Faceted beads like these catch light differently than the polished jasper rounds.

Jasper is called the supreme nurturer, and the working note attached to that title is a reminder that a person is not on this plane only for their own sake, but to bring substance to others and help them release what constrains them. Jasper stabilizes the aura, grounds to the earth, and was carried by shamans for protection. The ancients used it for safe astral travel, placed over the heart and navel before departure. Orbicular jasper in particular supports work rooted in service, it strengthens patience, and it helps a person accept responsibility rather than flinch from it. It is also traditionally used to keep breath continuous and circular during meditative states.
