The first step of the Root of the Turning Path. One fortnight, one rune, one honest look at what you have to start with. You are not behind.
Fehu is the first rune of the Elder Futhark, and the first course of the Turning Path. Over one fortnight you'll look at Fehu in the surviving rune poems, meet Freyr and Njord, take a real hard look at what you're starting with, write down what you believe today, start your Book of Shadows, and cast your first spell with what's already in your house. The Turning Path was designed and written by Lord Solinox Silverstar, the Confident Witch.
What you'll learn:
- Fehu, the first rune of the Elder Futhark: wealth that moves, grows, and does better when tended.
- Freyr and Njord, two Vanir deities of abundance and honest trade.
- Ancient tales of a ring, a ransom, and the consequences of theft and hoarding.
- All six ways of looking at your current "wealth" inventory
- A snapshot of your current beliefs
- How to begin building your own Book of Shadows
- A Gratitude and Seed charm
- Samhain on the witch's Wheel of the Year
The Turning Path is my tradition for training what I like to call Wyrd Dancers, those witches who can confidently dance with the Wheel of a magickal life. The Root level consists of twenty-four courses, one for each rune of the Elder Futhark. They are intended to be worked on one at a time in order around the Wheel of the Year, and finishing the Root level will teach you how to dance with yourself, using your own grounding, your own rhythm, and your own daily practice.
Fehu is the front door.
This course makes very few assumptions about your experience, your body, and your budget. As much as possible, I try to provide free and low-cost alternatives, as well as options for adapting to different bodies and brains.
I DO assume that you are ready and willing to take an honest look at where you're standing right now, because it's the only place anybody can begin.
This course includes about two hours of lessons, plus instructions for practice and ritual work. Your purchase provides lifetime access to this course.
