About the art
Heavy black ink outlines, flat saturated color, hand-lettering, and a hatched texture running through nearly every shape. Hands, eyes, prisms, plants, weather. The influence sits somewhere between underground comix and hand-painted sign work, and the deck is unapologetically loud in a category that mostly sells muted pastels and gold foil.
Version 2.0 uses the same illustrations as the original release with a rebuilt, brighter color palette. If you already own v1.0, you own the same 44 images.
How it reads
There's no suit structure, no numbering, no correspondence system, and no memorization curve. You pull a card, you look at the image, you say what you see. That makes the deck fast to learn and genuinely useful for people who freeze up when a card has an official meaning they're supposed to recall.
It also mixes well. Shuffling a few of these into a tarot spread — or drawing one alongside a finished reading — adds an image with no doctrinal weight attached to it, which tends to shake loose the thing the tarot was circling. Readers use it that way constantly.
