About washi tape

Washi is made from paper pulp rather than plastic film. It tears cleanly by hand with no scissors, it takes pen and pencil on its surface, and it lifts off most paper without pulling fibers if you reposition within a minute or two. The adhesive is deliberately low-tack to be repositionable.

Provenance and use

Lisa Junius is an illustrator and designer based in Luxembourg, known for blue-palette goddess work across tarot, prints, ceramics, and paper goods. Her stated aim for the imagery is calmness, strength, inner power, and connection to the natural world.

For practitioners: this is one of the cheapest ways to make a plain composition-book grimoire feel like yours. Tape a spread border, mark a section edge, hinge a loose page in, seal a written petition, decorate a candle-safe distance from the flame, or bind a sabbat card into a journal. Moon-phase journaling and dream-record keeping in particular — the imagery is on-theme without being literal.

Who this is for

Journalers, planner people, and Book of Shadows keepers. Anyone building a first grimoire on a budget. Card makers and gift wrappers. An easy under-ten add-on at the counter, and a natural bundle with the Cosmic Woman Tarot.
