Cappuccino Jasper, Carnelian & Clear Quartz Stretch Bracelet — One of a Kind
Most of this bracelet is dark. Cappuccino jasper runs three quarters of the strand in coffee brown and black banding, then breaks open at the bottom into a cluster of orange carnelian gated on both sides by clear quartz, with one more quartz bead set at the top of the circle like a marker. Soul Seed Creations built this as a composition rather than a repeat, and it looks like a coal bed banked at the bottom of a long night.

About the stones
Cappuccino jasper is a trade name rather than a mineralogical one. The material is a banded brown jasper, and jasper itself is microcrystalline quartz in which the crystals are packed in sugar-like grains instead of the fibrous layers you'd find in chalcedony. Jasper can carry up to a fifth of its volume in foreign material, which is where all the color and pattern come from. In this stone that means iron and organic-looking dark bands laid down in layers, so every bead cuts through the banding at a different angle. Some read as near-solid espresso, others show clean pale stripes.
Carnelian is chalcedony colored by iron oxide, named for its resemblance to the kornel cherry. The faceted beads here catch light where the round ones absorb it.
Clear quartz is silicon dioxide and is piezoelectric and pyroelectric, meaning its polarity shifts under pressure, under heat, and under the warmth of a hand. That physical fact underlies quartz's unique property of acting as a catalyst and amplifier for other stones.
