Sodalite Faceted Point Pendulum — 1.75" w/ 7" Chain

(0 review)

What you get: One faceted sodalite point, approximately 1.75" long, suspended from a 7" silver-tone chain finished with a clear quartz bead finger grip. Ready to use out of the box.

About the stone: Sodalite is a chloric sodium aluminum silicate, hardness 5.5–6. It almost never forms crystals, appearing instead in massive or granular habit, which is why you see it cut and faceted like this rather than as a natural point. The blue is shot through with white calcite veining, and the range within a single stone can run from near-navy to gray to pale streaks. Major deposits are in Bahia, Brazil, with others in Canada, Namibia, India, and the United States. Every piece is natural stone, so yours will not match the photograph exactly; the veining patterns are like a fingerprint.

A note for anyone comparing it to lapis lazuli: sodalite leaves a white streak on a ceramic plate and contains no pyrite flecks. If you see gold glitter, you're looking at lapis.

Correspondences: Wind element. Third Eye primarily, with strong Throat involvement. Traditionally Sagittarius. Vibrates to the number 4.

Sodalite's job is clearing confusion: arriving at logical conclusions through rational process, and then being able to actually say the true thing out loud, which is why it works with both the brow and the throat chakras. It's described as a key to Akashic knowledge, where the knowing arrives without all the work of learning. It's also a group stone: fellowship, solidarity, common purpose, and the self-trust that lets you rely on other people.

The deeper use is the journey stone. Sodalite reinforces witness consciousness, the part of you that watches, remembers scenes and symbols, and holds on through the difficult stretch of a meditation or a journey without flinching out of it.

Who this pendulum is for: Readers, specifically. Sodalite is repeatedly recommended for tarot readers, astrologers, numerologists, and anyone consulting an oracle, because it sharpens pattern recognition and helps translate an archetypal answer into something usable in an actual life. It also helps intuitive readers assess a client's energy honestly. If your pendulum work gets muddied by what you want the answer to be, this is the stone that keeps the reading clean.

Also worth knowing: sodalite is a quietly comfortable stone to carry. Good company for parties, new people, and anywhere that winds you up.
