About the stones: Carnelian is a chalcedony in the quartz family with a hardness of 7, running anywhere from pale orange to deep red-brown. Some stones in a set will show banding, some will be near-translucent, some opaque. These are natural stone and tumble-polished, so your set will not look identical to the photo; expect variation in shape, size, and color depth across the 25 pieces. The runes are carved into the surface and filled with gold, not printed on top, so they hold up to regular handling and casting.
