Raven & Triquetra Rune Necklace

(0 review)

Endings feed beginnings. The raven will take care of the leftovers.

Handmade by Soul Seed Creations, this piece runs approximately 25 inches and carries a two-sided 1.25" antiqued silver-tone medallion — a raven perched within a runic ring on one face, a triquetra on the other. Wear the raven facing out when you need its message, the trinity knot when you need its turning. One necklace, two moods.

The raven is the bird that lives at the threshold. In the Northern tradition it's Odin's own — Huginn and Muninn, thought and memory, flying out across all the worlds and returning with what they've seen. It's also the carrion bird, the one unafraid of death, the messenger who moves between what's ending and what's yet to come. Nothing is lost while the raven still remembers it.

Two runes carry the heart of it, and they're a matched pair across the great cycle. Eihwaz — the yew, the evergreen that stands in the graveyard and never dies, the axis that runs through all the worlds — is the rune of endurance, deep roots, and the passage through death that isn't really an ending. Berkano — the birch, the first tree to green in spring, the mother's tree — is birth, renewal, and the tender new growth that rises after. The yew holds the dark. The birch answers with green. Death feeds rebirth; the root and the shoot are the same tree in different seasons — and the raven is the one who flies between them.

The stones were chosen to walk that whole turning wheel, from fire to earth to green:

  • Orange turquoise — warmth, creativity, and life-force; the spark that gets you moving and keeps the heart open.
  • Green rhyolite — the stone of growth and forward motion, of working through the old to reach the new. Renewal you can touch.
  • Mahogany obsidian — grounding and gently protective, it steadies you and clears what's blocking the way without ever being harsh about it.
  • Buffalo bone — grounding, ancestral, and unpretentious. The buffalo wastes nothing and provides everything; this bone remembers that.

Carved rune beads, batik-etched bone accents, and hand-antiqued silver-tone details finish it. Every stone runs a little different, with greens, rust-reds, and warm amber browns.

Who it's for: anyone standing at a threshold. The person composting an old chapter into the next one, the one who knows grief and growth rise from the same root, the reader who wants a piece that honors the whole turning wheel and not just the easy half of it. Wears beautifully on any gender.

Genuine orange turquoise, green rhyolite, mahogany obsidian, and buffalo bone with cast metal-alloy rune, raven, and triquetra accents. Two-sided medallion. Handmade.
