Wood that decided to become stone.
That's not a metaphor. Every one of these little mushrooms was a tree — real bark, real grain, real growth rings — buried in silt millions of years ago while groundwater crept in cell by cell and swapped the wood for silica. Molecule for molecule. The tree kept its shape and lost everything else. You can still read the grain running up the stem.
Petrified wood is the patience stone. Not the waiting kind of patience — the kind that keeps its structure while everything about it is replaced. Grounding, steadying, and stubbornly permanent. Work with it when you're in the middle of a slow transformation and you need proof that you can change entirely and still be recognizably yourself.
Hand-carved and polished, roughly 1.25" tall. Small enough for an altar corner, a windowsill, or a pocket. Natural stone — color, banding, and grain vary piece to piece, and yours will not look exactly like the photo.
Sold individually. Intuitively chosen unless you visit and pick your own.
