Selene Handmade Kitchen Witch Doll

(0 review)
She has been in this kitchen longer than you have. She knows where everything is.

Selene is a one-of-a-kind handmade kitchen witch doll created by Gabrielle of Oracle Art in December 2025 — the eldest of three sisters, and it shows. She stands 12" tall and weighs approximately half a pound, built over a wire armature with a polymer clay and paper clay sculpted face and hands, angora goat hair, hand-painted acrylic details, doll eyes, black fabric, and vintage ribbon, charm, and ornament accents.

Her face is the most sculptural of the three — a long nose, high cheekbones, and a knowing smile that says she has seen every kitchen disaster imaginable and is entirely unbothered. Her warm golden-brown hair falls loose under a white lace headscarf set in a grapevine wreath halo. She wears a simple black dress with a teal and gold bodice, ribbon ties at her sleeves in soft cream and blush, and a pinecone charm at her waist.

In one hand she holds a miniature red apple — abundance, harvest, the hearth's oldest offering. In the other, a wooden rolling pin with a small spatula. She came to cook. She came to protect. She has been doing both for a very long time.

Note: a specific herb and intention card was not available for Selene at time of listing. She arrives with her Oracle Art identification card documenting her name, materials, and maker.

The tradition she comes from:

Kitchen witch dolls originate in German and Scandinavian folklore as guardians of the home — hung in the kitchen to bring good luck, prevent mishaps, counteract ill will, and stand watch where warmth, nourishment, and family life converge. Selene has clearly been doing this work for centuries.

She arrives with her original Oracle Art identification card, signed by the artist, documenting her name, date of creation, and full materials list.
