She is not the sweet grandmother watching over your cookies. She is the one making sure nothing dark crosses your threshold.
Morrigan is a one-of-a-kind handmade kitchen witch doll created by Gabrielle of Oracle Art in January 2026. She stands 12" tall and weighs approximately half a pound. She is built over a wire armature with a polymer clay and paper clay sculpted head and hands, angora goat hair, hand-painted acrylic details, glass eyes, black lace fabric, and a vintage charm. Every detail is intentional. There is no other Morrigan.
She arrives dressed entirely in black — a fitted black dress with black lace overlay, dark lips, heavy smoky eye paint in deep blue-grey, and long grey angora hair under a white lace headscarf framed by a grapevine wreath halo. In one hand she holds a miniature black cauldron containing rosemary and sage for protection and purification, to invite clarity, wisdom, and healing energy. In her other hand, a small besom broom. Her potion bottle holds lavender and rose — for peace, love, and calm in the home.
She is named for the Irish goddess of sovereignty, fate, and protection. The name suits her entirely.
The tradition she comes from:
Kitchen witch dolls originate in German and Scandinavian folklore as guardians of the home — hung in the kitchen to bring good luck, prevent mishaps, counteract ill will, and stand watch where warmth, nourishment, and family life converge. Morrigan takes that role seriously.
She arrives with her original Oracle Art identification card, signed by the artist, documenting her name, date of creation, and full materials list.
