Tiwaz is the rune of honor, justice, and the hard right thing. The shape is an arrow or spear pointing straight up, showing the true aim of the warrior, the straight line of integrity. It stands for justice that comes at a price, and the courage to do right knowing it'll hurt.
Tiwaz is victory earned through sacrifice and integrity. It doesn't come cheap.

Cautionary shadow
Tiwaz out of balance manifests as rigid self-righteousness, martyrdom for its own sake, unasked or unappreciated sacrifice, and punishment masquerading as "justice." It can also be knowing the right thing and avoiding it anyway.
