Ansuz
Ansuz is the god's mouth, divine breath, inspired speech, poetry, prophecy, prayer, teaching, all the words that seem to come from someplace or something larger than yourself.
This is Odin's breath. The moment Ask and Embla became humans filled with life and a voice. Inspiration literally means being filled with spirit; Ansuz is that spiritual essence.

Listen before you speak, but DO speak. A message is trying to move through you. This could be prayer, writing, divination, teaching, a difficult conversation, or the perfect string of words to unlock that problem you've been trying to solve. Ansuz says the right words will be the charm; not fancy words, but true ones.

Cautionary shadow
Ansuz distorts when ego grabs the microphone. Watch out for spiritual grandstanding, confusing every thought or occurrence with divine omens, or using "my cards said" to avoid accountability. The divine word does not need you to inflate its importance. It needs to be spoken plainly and clearly so it will be understood and received.
Try writing in your journal without stopping or filtering for 5 or 10 minutes, and see what comes out of your pen.
