Algiz
Algiz is protection. It's the warding rune, the elk's antlers raised in defense, the splayed hand that says stop. The name means elk, or elk-sedge, a marsh grass that can cut a careless hand. It's the rune of sanctuary, the protective field, and the connection between you and your Higher Self.
Algiz is both ward and divine antenna, providing protection through an open channel to a higher power.
